A TEENAGE schoolgirl was indecently assaulted as she travelled on a bus home, police said.
Officers said the 15-year-old was waiting for a bus at Burnley Bus Station at around 4pm on Tuesday when she was approached by the man.
The offender asked her some personal questions before following her onto a 112 bus and sitting next to her, officers said.
She then claims he touched her arm and stroked her leg before leaving the bus at the Church Street stop.
He is described as white, in his early 20s, around 5ft 10ins, wearing a dark puffy jacket, blue jeans and a woollen hat with a small peak.
He was also carrying a red rucksack.
Anyone with information should call Burnley CID on 01282 472240 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
