BUSINESSMEN and women from East Lancashire celebrated five years of dreams becoming realities this week.
Michelin Development hosted an fifth anniversary event to commemorate the initiative which has seen 500 jobs created since it was launched in 2003.
Companies that have benefited from the scheme include Pendle-based packaging company, Koribox Lad, Clayton-le-Moors building hardware suppliers, Buildfix and handmade chocolate manufacturers Coco Moyo based in Clitheroe.
Mike Cole, director of Michelin Development said: “Our philosophy is all about helping businesses succeed, especially when this leads to the creation of long-term jobs.
“All the companies present at the event have done this, which in turn has had a positive effect on their local communities.”
The celebration, which took place at the Fence Gate Inn near Burnley featured a speed networking session organised by Burnley Council.
