TWO men have been charged in connection with a robbery at a Blackburn jewellers.
John Groom and Mark Groom, who are from the Manchester area, were arrested on Tuesday and have now been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Last year police said four armed robbers escaped with a large quantity of money and jewellery from Ancient and Modern jewellers, New Market Street, Blackburn.
They forced their way into the premises around 4.15pm on December 19 2007, police said.
Using sledgehammers and samurai swords officers said they threatened staff before escaping with the cash and jewellery.
In April three men were arrested and two of those suspects were charged.
