A MIRROR celebrating Blackburn in a century has been rescued.
Andrew Malpass, 36, who works at Blackburn and Ribble Glass, bought the mirror for just £20 at a clearance auction at Byrom Supplies, Chapel Street, last month.
The mirror, that was once described as a ‘priceless gem’, will undergo a makeover by Andrew, and he says it needs a new home.
He said: “I saw the mirror and thought. I’ve got to have this. I plan to to tidy up the mirror and if anyone wants to suggest a home for it they can contact me on 672020.”
