A BID to find Great Harwood’s best dressed Christmas window has been launched.
Local people are being asked to get involved in the competition by voting for their favourite window, by completing a nomination form and handing them in to Great Harwood Library, Overheads, The Original Factory Shop or Great Harwood Area Council’s office.
The winner will be selected from a shortlist drawn up from residents’ nominations by judges Coun Lynn Wilson and Coun Roy Atkinson, Chair and Vice Chair of Great Harwood Area Council.
The closing date is December 8, and judging will take place on December 11, followed by a presentation of the £100 prize, donated by Danley Engineering Services to the lucky winner.
Coun Lynn Wilson said “This is a great competition.
"A lot of hard work goes into the displays, and they really add to the festive feel in Great Harwood each year.
"The nomination forms can be found in most local shops, and we want everyone to get involved - so please make sure you pick up your form and vote.”
