YOUNGSTERS in Burnley were given a taster of what it’s like to run a business in today’s financial climate.
As part of the No Limits Enterprise Week, young people aged between 16 and 18 took part in a series of activities at Burnley Football Club to develop business skills.
The teenagers selected roles, including chief executive, marketing manager, financial director, football manager and stadium manager, before presenting a business plan to a panel of judges.
Aileen Evans, No Limits representative, said: “It was a fantastic day and youngsters were given an insight into how a successful business is run.
“They were encouraged to be more enterprising and more ambitious which is just as important.”
Judge Alison Waterworth gave a talk highlighting how crucial PR and marketing are in the business world.
