THREE boys have been suspended from Witton Park High School, Blackburn, for their ‘mohican’-style hair cuts.
Headteacher Gwen Onyon said they had strict guidelines on appearance that must be followed.
One boy was ordered to leave classes yesterday after his hairdo, similar to controversial Arsenal defender William Gallas’ hairstyle, was spotted by teachers.
The school said three pupils were suspended yesterday and ordered to trim their hair.
Mrs Onyon said: “We have strict guidelines on uniform, dress and jewellery.
“There is not a big problem at this school, if they have it re-done and it trimmed they will be allowed back into classes.
"We hope to resolve the problem as soon as possible.”
