BUS services in Pendle and Burnley are set to be given a boost with the unveiling of a new transport interchange.
Extra buses will serve Burnley General Hospital and a route between Nelson and Burnley along Marsden Road will be restored.
A bus link will return between Barrowford and Colne and there is a new connection between Burnley and Boundary Mill.
The alterations have come about as the new rail and bus terminus opens in Nelson.
A county council spokesman said: “Some of the benefits include a new link to Burnley General Hospital from all parts of the Pendle Green Line route and the Lower Manor side of Burnley.
“There will also see the restoration of a service along Marsden Road to both Nelson and Burnley, and a direct link between Barrowford and Colne and a new link from Burnley to Boundary Mill.”
>> Service updates
Some of the main changes will be to the 94 and 95 buses between Colne and Brierfield/Burnley, via Boundary Mill and Nelson.
From December 7, the 94A Pendle Green Line will be renumbered to 95 and extended from Nelson to Burnley, using the new interchange and also stopping off at Burnley General.
But the number 5 service is being withdrawn – the Lower Manor to Burnley town centre leg will be incorporated with the new 95 bus and the Burnley to Healey Wood circular will be known as the 105 service.
The 65 bus from Nelson to Burnley, via Fence, Higham and Padiham, will run five or 10 minutes earlier and link in with the 105 bus.
The 16 and 68 buses, running from Nelson to Colne and Colne to Bunkers Hill respectively, will be reduced to a two-hourly service.
However, the 68 bus will be extended to run along Colne Road, restoring a service between Colne and Barrowford which ended in March.
Timing changes will also be made to the 74 Nelson to Marsden circular, which will run five minutes later Mondays to Saturdays.
Bus bosses are also advising customers to check timetables for changed departure times for the 98 Nelson to Valley Mills and 98 Nelson to Marsden Heights services.
