WOMEN took to the field at Turf Moor as part of a scheme to kick-start their own business.
The enterprise day at the ground’s Enterprise Haven gave women from across East Lancashire the chance to learn basic business skills.
Burnley FC challenged the ladies to come up with a plan which would raise enough money for Owen Coyle to buy a new player.
The event was part of No Limits enterprise week and featured the Women Mean Business team, a group set up to encourage more women to go into business.
Aileen Evans, from No Limits, said: “The event was a huge success and it was great to see so many women with creative ideas.
“The Women Mean Business team will stay in contact with the women and will help them turn their ideas into reality in the future.”
