Hyndburn people have until the end of the month to help shape planning and policy decisions for the next 15 years.
Hyndburn Council has asked for suggestions to be sumitted by Monday December 22, but will accept input on the area’s future until the end of the month. Feedback received will be used to create the borough’s Core Strategy, which will set out how Hyndburn will develop for years to come.
A number of drop-in events have been aranged to explain how to become involved, while others can read information and fill out comment forms on the council’s website.
Drop-in consultations will take place from 5-8pm at Accrington Town Hall on Tuesday, December 16, and at St Charles’ School, Rishton, on Wednesday, December 17. There is an exhibition touring libraries, which will move to Great Harwood library, week beginning December 8 and Accrington, week beginning December 15. There is a permanent exhibition in the main reception of the Council offices at Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington throughout the consultation period.
