A MAN needed hospital treatment after being ‘viciously assaulted’ in his own home.
Three teenagers have been arrested in relation to the incident, which happened at 8.45pm on Saturday, in Colne Road, Burnley.
Police said the victim was followed home by a gang, who verbally abused him before entering his house.
The 37-year-old man managed to alert his neighbours after fleeing his home and residents phoned for an ambulance.
He was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
A 13, 15 and 19-year-old were arrested yesterday and were being questioned last night.
Detective Inspector Sion Hall said: “This is a very nasty assault that we are taking very seriously.”
