A CHARITY shop was raided for £500 by “deplorable” burglars.
They smashed their way into the Marie Curie store, St James’ Street, Burnley, before helping themselves to £500 from a safe.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred between 4.45pm on Saturday and 12.45am on Monday.
