FRIENDS of a teenage left a coma after a brutal street attack have set up two websites urging him to pull though.
Fifteen-year-old Gino Hargreaves is now in a stable condition at Hope Hospital after being kicked unconscious in an unprovoked attack in Hancock Street, Blackburn, last Thursday.
Teenage friends have set up pages on the Bebo and Facebook websites to offer him and his family messages of support.
Gino’s friend Ash Evans sat up the Please Pull Through Gino Hargreaves site on Bebo, with the initial message: “Everyone hopes you do mate. Everyone is supporting you and missing you.”
The group has more than 500 members and includes messages from all ages.
Site member Coolest Cucumber posted: “Gino, Please pull through. I haven’t stopped crying since I found out. Come on Gino, babe, you can do this.”
Pensioner Linde Nicolay added: “You are a great lad.
“My heart is breaking with what has happened.”
Another site has been set up on Facebook, with more than 900 members, to encourage people to find those who attacked Gino.
Gino’s family have appealed for people to come forward with information – but have asked people not to take matters into their own hands.
Anybody with information should call police on 01254 51212 Or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
