Schoolchildren in Helmshore are putting their best feet forward with the help of a local company.
Pupils at Helmshore Primary School are being encouraged to walk to and from school safely after solicitors Woodcocks provided them with high visibility vests.
It is the second year running the firm has provided the school with the safety vests, kitting out the infants last year.
This year the new intake of pupils were presented with their vests after the company pledged to make it an annual event.
Christine Myers, headteacher, said: “We like to encourage our children to walk to school because it is good exercise, and helps to ease congestion.
“We are very grateful for Woodcocks’ support.”
