Blackburn Museum documentation officer, Vinai Solanki with the watercolour
One of Blackburn’s best known watercolours, Cascade at Terni by JMW Turner is about to embark on a nine-month tour of some of Europe’s best galleries.
The watercolour has been requested to be included in the exhibition Turner and Italy.
It will first travel to Italy, then Scotland and finally to Hungary.
The museum said it was honoured they have asked to lend the watercolour.
