A WANTED man has been sent back to prison after police were tipped off that he was in the Accrington area.
Jason McCash, 24, was originally sent to prison after he committed burglaries and an arson attack in the Hyndburn area in August 2005.
McCash, originally from Blackburn was released from prison on license in August 2008 and had been wanted by police after he breached the terms and conditions of his early release from prison.
His picture was publicised and after a tip-of he was arrested.
Inspector John Clucas said "This is an excellent example of where we, the police, put information into the public domain via our website and through the local media and we get a response that leads directly to an arrest for a person who has been wanted for a couple of months.
“I can only ask that others look at the wanted people featured on our police website and if they have relevant information then pass it on to us, and we will do the rest."
