The family of a 16-year-old football fan who died of leukaemia have raised money for charity in memory of what would have been his 18th birthday.
Christopher Smith, of Franklin Road, Blackburn, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, a cancer which rapidly attacks the blood cells, and died on Christmas Eve 2006.
Now his family, including mum Tracey Tomlinson and brother Adam Smith (pictured with a photo of Christopher), have raised cash for the children’s cancer charity Clic Sergeant.
