A teenager has been charged with criminal damage after an incident on the roof of the Monte Cristo takeaway restaurant, Church, when bricks were allegedly thrown to the road.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called to Henry Street in the early hours of Saturday and the road was closed for around five hours.
Daniel Corbett, 18, of Water Street, Great Harwood, has been charged with criminal damage and affray.
He will appear before Blackburn magistrates today.
