NINETY-five per cent of people are happy with Burnley’s NHS services, says the borough’s MP.

Kitty Ussher has made the claim after surveying around 2,000 people across the constituency, to coincide with the Health Service’s 60th birthday.

The top priorities for the NHS in Burnley and Padiham should be cleanliness, efficient spending and reduced waiting lists, according to the MP’s survey.

The MP said: “We undertook this survey to mark the 60th anniversary of the NHS and I’m really encouraged by the results that we found.”
