A REMEMBRANCE concert will be hosted by the Mayor of Rossendale.
Coun Christine Gill is inviting veterans and their families, and residents from across Rossendale, to the Festival of Remem-brance concert which is being held at Bacup Leisure Hall on November 9, at 7pm.
Collections will be taken during the ceremony, featuring Stacksteads Band, for the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal.
Five remembrance services will take place across the borough earlier in the day.
These are being held in Helmshore, Haslin-gden, Whitworth, Bac-up and Rawtenstall.
