A MAN has been charged after four million smuggled cigarettes were found at a property in Bacup.
UK Border Agency workers discovered the consignment hidden behind boxes of flip flops in a container from China, which had been delivered to Felixstowe.
They allowed a delivery to be made to Bacup, as planned, where three men were arrested. One man has since been charged.
Craig Stephen Waterhouse, 45, has been charged with fraudulently evading excise duty.
He is due to appear before Burnley Magistrates on Friday.
