THE election process to find a new board member for a Rossendale landlord is having to restart.
Green Vale Homes, based in Rawtenstall, launched an independent investigation after receiving a complaint in the run up to the election for a member to represent the Bacup and Stacksteads area.
The election of a tenant to represent the area was due to be held in July, but the process will now be re-started from the beginning.
George Paterson, director of corporate services, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to the participation of our tenants in the election process.
"Their contributions are vital to the continuing success of Green Vale Homes.”
The closing date for nominations is December 12 and elections will start on February 2.
