Householders disturbed a burglar as he was trying to take their flat-screen television.
The burglar gained enty to the home in Ribblesdale Avenue in Accrington at approximately 1.20am on Saturday.
The occupants heard noises and disturbed the burglar who left empty handed.
The man is described as just over 6ft tall, in his mid-twenties with short dark hair. He was wearing a red and white top with dark jeans and trainers. Anyone with information should call Accrington Police on 51212.
