A MAN who "bottled" another customer in a Bacup wine bar could be facing jail after being found guilty of the attack.

Zak Cullen, 24, of Sandfield Road, Bacup, was convicted of unlawful wounding on February 9, after a three day trial at Burnley Crown Court. Recorder Patrick Field, QC, bailed him until November 28, for a pre-sentence report.

The jury had been told victim Lewis Haigh had earlier bumped into a man in the Bacchus bar. He was later struck to the top of the head by the defendant as he sat at the bar. The defendant was later arrested in April, but denied the allegation.
