THE countdown to Blackburn’s Christmas celebrations has started.
Yesterday Blackburn Town Centre Partnership launched its loyalty card scheme in a bid to help increase business in the run up to the festive period.
The loyalty card, which is backed by Blackburn with Darwen Council and The Mall, will be accepted by a number of town centre stores with shoppers who collect 12 stamps eligible for a free gift.
Stores involved in the scheme include all the retailers in The Mall, Marks and Spencers, shops in Exchange Arcade, Outdoor Action, Ainsworth Jewellers and Blackburn Visitor Centre.
The town centre partnership is also distributing a discount booklet of vouchers for a range of shops.
