A FIRST-of-its-kind library will open in Bolton next Friday.
The library, which will stock Islamic literature, is in the Zakariyya Jaame Masjid mosque in Peace Street, Bolton.
It will be open to members of the community, regardless of faith, who can borrow the books or use the reference material.
Membership is free.
Subnum Hariff, the Library Project Manager said: “Our vision is to provide Islamic resources to meet the many varied needs out there, working in partnership with others.
“In the current climate it is important that institutions like ourselves have an open door policy to promote social cohesion.”
