A TEENAGE girl has been arrested after a van ploughed through several gardens in a quiet cul-de-sac.
Half a dozen neighbours rang police after their gardens were churned up when a van careered off the road and hit some trees at around 8.30pm last night.
The incident happened on Saxon Close in Oswaldtwistle, just off Blackburn Road.
Police arrested a young girl, who is thought to be around 14 years old, from the Blackburn area on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.
After questioning, she was later released on police bail.
Police are currently making enquiries into the ownership of the vehicle.
No-one was injured in the incident and damage caused to property on the night was not thought to be extensive.
