The Bishop of Blackburn, the Rt Rev Nicholas Reade, has called on Church of England members in Lancashire to increase “prayer and care” for victims of the economic crisis.
“I hope the whole diocese will continue to remember them in their prayers,” the Bishop told Anglican leaders representing 244 parishes, meeting at the Diocesan Synod in Blackpool.
