ANOTHER arrest has been made as part of Lancashire Constabulary’s Operation Greengage which investigates firearms and drugs offences.
A 37-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested in Amsterdam on behalf of officers from Lancashire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU).
He was arrested at 11.30am on Tuesday on a European arrest warrant following a joint investigation between SOCU, the Dutch police and the Scottish Drug Enforcement Agency.
He is currently in custody in Amsterdam and is awaiting extradition to the UK where he will be questioned by officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Unit.
Houses in Darwen, Hyndburn, Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale have also been raided as part of Operation Greengage in previous months.
