A PENDLE man has celebrated a landmark birthday by raising money for charity.
Peter Boardman, of Fence, honoured turning 70 with a meal and party for his family at the Higher Trapp Hotel.
He requested donations in lieu of gifts to Pendle-side Hospice, at Reedley, and raised £288. Peter said: “I’d like to thank everyone for their contributions and for the wonderful time I had”
