A LEADING green summit, set to be staged later this month in Padiham, has been postponed because of the credit crunch.
Top building experts and town planners were scheduled to descend on Shuttleworth College on October 29 and 30 to discuss the best ways of constructing zero carbon homes and eco-friendly estates.
But with the hous-ing and construction markets feeling the pinch organisers Elevate East Lancashire decided to pull the plug.
