Darwen Macmillan Cancer Support committee wants more people to get involved.
The group meets every six weeks and organises events throughout the year to raise the much needed funds to support the people of Darwen, Blackburn and surrounding areas.
Next up is a Christmas fair at the United Reformed Church, Duckworth Street, on November 8 from 11am to 2pm.
Anyone able to help at fundraising events can become a Friend of the Committee – call the secretary on 01254 771070.
