POLICE are re-appealing for information after a metal grid was used to smash the front window of a supermarket before it was burgled.
The window of the Iceland store, in School Street, Darwen, was attacked around 9.30pm on Sunday.
The raiders fled with alcohol worth £38.
Police are linking the incident with another on Friday in which a brick was thrown at the frozen food store’s window and £3,500 worth of damage was caused.
Police are looking for two people in connection with the incident.
The first is a female described as thin and wearing a grey tracksuit and black hooded jacket.
The other is a thin man aged 18 to 20 with short dark hair and wearing a blue jacket, a white t-shirt and a grey jacket with blue stripes under the arms.
