TWO men from Blackburn and Burnley have been arrested in connection with a kidnapping where a man was snatched from his car in Preston.
Police said the 21-year-old victim was subjected to a violent beating after his captors held him against his will for over three hours during the incident in April.
A white Mercedes Vito van slammed into his car and he was pulled from the vehicle and shoved in the van, police said.
He suffered significant - but not serious - injuries during his ordeal.
Police swooped on an address in Blackburn and one in Burnley this morning and arrested two men.
Six other men were also arrested at Preston addresses.
Detective Chief Inspector Des Coop, who is leading the investigation, said: “Today’s arrests show that Lancashire Constabulary is 100 per cent committed to tackling serious violent crime."
