A PENSIONER already behind bars for four years for child sex offences admitted two more allegations when he appeared at Burnley Crown Court.
Michael Burrows, 65, pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14, between March 1996 and March 1998.
He denied indecency with a child and a further charge of indecent assault, said to have been committed between the same dates.
The court was told Burows, of Rose Cottage, Roughlee, abused the victim when she was eight or nine and he was a guest at a dinner party.
In April last year he was sent to prison for “similar offences”.
The two allegations he pleaded not guilty to will be left to lie on the file when he is sentenced.
Burrows was remanded in custody until October 17 after Judge Heather Lloyd said she wanted an impact statement from the victim and an update from the prison service “about what has occurred whilst he has been in prison”.
