A HOLIDAYMAKER from Darwen has won a five-day break in Devon for the second time in three years.
Damian Curson, 35, of Knowlesly Road, qualified for the Worthingtons Bitter Darts Grand Final at Devon Valley, Shaldon, while on a family holiday with his wife and two children earlier this month.
In 2006 he was beaten in the final of the same competition, winning the free break at the resort and £100. This year’s competition is in October.
Damian, a quality controller at Thwaites, said: “I play for the Bowling Green pub at home and I’m going to have to get a lot of practice in. I’m looking forward to it.”
