A REFRIGERATED unit at a fruit and vegetable wholesalers near Colne should be removed immediately, say council planning bosses.
Residents have complained about a trailer sticking out of a building at Richard Wellock and Sons Ltd at Whiteholme Mill, Skipton Road, Trawden.
Pendle Council planning officials have visited the site and been told that the firm intends to use the unit as an extension to the existing operation.
Because both plant equipment or an extension would require official permission, planning officers say enforcement action should be taken.
The final decision will be made by the council’s Colne and District committee on Thursday.
