PRE-SCHOOL children in Lammack, Blackburn will get a new home from September.
Fernbank pre-school, which has been based at Lammack Road Methodist church since 1982, will move to an extension at Lammack Community Primary School.
The nursery, which will cater for 40 two- to five-year-olds per session, will operate through a partnership agreement between Blackburn with Darwen Council, the school and Fernbank Nursery Ltd.
Bosses said it would improve access to a range of services, including family and child health services and help parents or carers who are looking to get back into work.
Coun Chris Thayne, executive member for children’s services, said: “This will ensure we meet children’s needs in first class surroundings while improving services for children and families.”
