EDENFIELD and District’s horticultural society took part in a garden trail to raise £150 for local charities on Sunday.
The event, which is held every other year, saw eight gardens, including a tropical Japanese one, open to visitors in Edenfield and Stubbins.
Maureen Hodkinson of the society said: “As visitors completed the route and returned to Edenfield Community Centre, the main talking point was how different each garden was, everyone having a different favourite, and how they had enjoyed talking gardening with the owners.”
