Stacksteads Brass Band are bringing festive music to the community with their upcoming Christmas concert.
The event will take place at Bacup's Royal Court Theatre on Saturday, December 7, at 7.30pm.
The show will feature a mix of traditional Christmas music, popular festive songs, and special guests.
The Valley Aloud choir will join the brass band, adding their voices to the evening.
Santa Claus, Olaf the Snowman, and the Grinch are also set to make appearances.
This year’s concert holds added significance as it coincides with the one-year anniversary of Stacksteads Brass Band’s fundraising campaign.
According to the band, they have achieved progress, aided by community support, but additional funding is required to finish bandroom renovations, acquire new uniforms, expand their music library, and launch a training band.
Joe Healey, chair of Stacksteads Brass Band, said: "The support we've received from the community over the past year has been incredible.
"However, we still have a long way to go to ensure the long-term future of Stacksteads Brass Band.
"This concert is a wonderful way to celebrate the season while raising much-needed funds to support our ongoing work."
They hope this concert will raise the necessary funds for their ongoing projects.
Tickets for the concert are currently available for purchase on Bacup's Royal Court Theatre's website or from Wishes Galore in Bacup.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards supporting the band's future initiatives.
The Stacksteads Brass Band's Christmas Spectacular aims to offer an evening of entertainment for both music enthusiasts and families.
With a mix of brass music, festive cheer, and family-friendly appeal, the concert is hoping to offer something for everyone.
