The Boomtown Rats and B*Witched are among the acts set to perform at a Leyland music festival next year.
The two groups, best known for their hit tracks I Don't Like Mondays and C'est La Vie, respectively, will take to the stage in Spring.
The fourth annual Music in the Park, which will take place at Worden Park on Sunday, May 25, 2025, features the likes of Chesney Hawkes, Hue & Cry, and Five Star (Denise Pearson) in its line-up.
Also on the bill are the Boomtown Rats (Sir Bob Geldof, Pete Briquette, and Simon Crowe); Chris Moyle, with a DJ set; Roland Gift; Rozalla; and Boomin.
The festival will be hosted by Nathan Moore.
Councillor Matthew Farnworth, South Ribble Borough Council's cabinet member for culture, community wealth building, and licensing, said: "What an incredible line-up!
"Music in the Park has gone from strength to strength since our first event in 2022.
"It was amazing to see thousands of people come along to Worden Park this year and I can’t wait to see even more people enjoy themselves at one of South Ribble’s flagship events next year.
"The feedback we had from this year’s event was fantastic, so much so that this year we’ve sold hundreds of tickets before the line-up was even announced."
Over the years, artists who have graced the stage in Leyland include the legendary Billy Ocean, Jason Donovan, Bananarama, Peter André, and Tony Hadley.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £55.
VIP tickets are also available for £75 and include access to a separate viewing area, premium food and drink outlets, and toilets.
All tickets are subject to a booking fee. More information is available at www.musicinthepark.live
