A short documentary has been released on what a battling boxing club brings to an East Lancs community.
Film-makers from Dirty Faces Studio has been working with young people at Clayton Boxing Club since the start of the year.
Interviews have been conducted with young fighters, coaches and their parents ahead of the release of 'Hands In Gloves', commissioned by the Super Slow Way initiative.
A Super Slow Way spokesman said: "Since the start of the year, Dirty Faces Studio has been working with young people at Clayton Boxing Club and the community around Clayton to make a short film about life in the area.
"Some of the footage was also recorded during our ‘Capturing Clayton’ workshops, where Dirty Faces invited people from the local community to meet them for an informal and leisurely walk around town, capturing and discussing the good, the bad, the inspiring and memory filled corners of Clayton."
Focusing on the work of coaches John Brindle and Martin Morley, it also features an interview with the latter's son and budding boxer Kai, who coaches club youngsters.
Dad Anton Druichenko, a refugee from Ukraine, also relays how he is grateful for what the club has offered his young son, Nikolai, since their arrival in Clayton.
Directed by Brody Salmon of Dirty Faces, with Blackburn film-maker Aaron Dunleavy serving as director of photography, the piece closes with the original song, 'Hand In Gloves' by Ian Hodgson, of veteran Blackburn ban Bradford.
Ian also works at Clayton Community Centre, in Pickup Street, where the club is based.
