Two fire crews were called to tackle a blaze caused by a battery-powered forklift truck.
The incident happened at 11.30am on Friday (November 29) at a commercial premises on West Craven Drive, Earby.
Two fire engines from Barnoldswick and Colne attended and extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus.
Elsewhere on Friday, just after 7pm four fire engines from Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Preston, and Fulwood, along with a water bowser from Leyland, attended a fire on Chapel Lane, Heapey.
The fire involved a large quantity of hay bales. Firefighters used three jets to tackle the blaze.
