Burnley College Sixth Form Centre will participate in a national T Levels Week to showcase innovative qualifications.
Running from Monday, December 2, to Friday 6, the initiative aims to inspire learners and highlight the diverse range of T Level subjects.
Year 10 students from schools across the region are invited to immerse themselves in the world of T Levels at Burnley College.
Subject-specific taster sessions have been organised to give students a glimpse into the vast opportunities these qualifications provide.
T Levels at Burnley College, developed alongside industry experts, offer a blend of rigorous academic learning and practical industry skills, including a mandatory 315-hour real-world work placement.
The week will also feature round table discussions and Q&A sessions involving students and employers.
These forums aim to provide insights into the skills sought by employers and a comprehensive understanding of T Levels.
Networking opportunities will enable students to connect with industry leaders and peers.
Burnley College offers T Levels with an industry-relevant curriculum in Health, Early Years Education, Engineering, Construction, Cyber Security, Marketing, and Accountancy.
Three of its tutors have been selected as National T Level Ambassadors.
In 2024, Burnley College students achieved a 100 per cent T Level pass rate in Health, Healthcare Science, Design, Surveying, and Planning for Construction.
These qualifications offer pathways to higher education, apprenticeships, and direct entry into skilled employment.
