A jeweller is running a competition to win prizes worth more than £5,000.

Ainsworth Jewellers, based in Darwen Street, Blackburn, has launched its biggest-ever competition to mark the start of advent.

There will be 24 daily prizes from today, December 1, to Christmas Eve, December 24, worth a total of £5,000.

The prizes will be revealed on the jeweller's Instagram page, with a winner chosen each day.

Prizes will include earrings, bracelets, watches, cufflinks, rings, and necklaces, with values ranging from £25 to £1,450.

The top prize is a pair of tanzanite and diamond earrings.

To enter, participants need to like, share, and tag three friends on each daily post.

Entries are open until midnight each day, with winners announced the following day.

Phil Ainsworth, fifth-generation owner of Ainsworth Jewellers, said: "We are beyond excited about this competition which really could make such a difference to someone this Christmas.

"We have gorgeous prizes on offer so there really is something for everyone.

"Just imagine winning one of these prizes to either enjoy yourself or being able to gift it to a loved one this Christmas, wouldn’t that be incredibly special."

Other prizes include a gold bracelet, cufflinks, a silver feather necklace, a Coeur de Lion bracelet, and an ear-piercing voucher.
