A man, in his 90s, has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Barnoldswick.
Police were called to Kelbrook Road at 8.45am on Thursday, November 28.
They said a Hyundai i30 had hit a pedestrian in the carriageway.
He suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
“The road was closed for a time while police carried out an investigation. It has since reopened.
A spokesperson said: “Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a pedestrian was injured in a collision in Barnoldswick.
“Our officers were called at 8.45am yesterday (November 28) to Kelbrook Road, Barnoldswick, to a report of a road traffic collision.
“They found that a Hyundai i30 had been in collision with a pedestrian – a man in his 90s – in the carriageway.
“He suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
“The road was closed for a time while collision investigation work was carried out. It has since reopened.
