A mystery man has won £297,406 on The National Lottery, after matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in a EuroMillions draw.
The man known as Mr M won the money for the draw on Friday, October 25.
Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.
Senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, Andy Carter, said, “Wow, what amazing news for Mr M who has banked £297k on EuroMillions. Huge congratulations!”
Just this week, a UK ticket-holder came forward to claim the £177 million jackpot from Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw, which will make them the third biggest National Lottery winner of all time.
The claim will now go through a validation process and, if confirmed, the prize will be paid at an appointment with one of the National Lottery’s winners’ advisers.
That ticket holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news with the world.
On July 19, 2022, an anonymous UK ticket-holder scooped the record EuroMillions jackpot of £195m.
Tuesday’s winner is just behind Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, who won a then record-breaking £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the draw on May 10, 2022.
The National Lottery is celebrating 30 years of changing lives. Since it launched, more than 7,400 millionaires have been made and more than £50 billion has been raised for Good Causes with more than 700,000 individual grants awarded.
