A list of the top five dog-friendly forests in Lancashire has been revealed.

The list includes Mere Sands Wood, Beacon Fell Country Park, Roddlesworth Wood, Sunnyhurst Wood, and Towneley Park.

Roddlesworth Wood, managed by United Utilities, is the largest woodland on the list, spanning 145.68 hectares.

It scored a total Paws Score of 6 out of 10 and an average rating of 4.9 from 29 ratings.
