Illegal vapes and tobacco totalling around £16,000 have been seized from two shops in Rossendale.
Officers from Lancashire Police's neighbourhood policing team (NPT) were joined by Trading Standards on Friday, November 22 to conduct the operation.
During the visit, illegal tobacco, cigarettes and vapes were seized, and Trading Standards will be taking appropriate action against the shops.
Sergeant Paul Marsden, from the Rossendale NPT, said: “These products are not only illegal, but they can also pose serious health risks to those purchasing and consuming these goods.
“We will continue to work with our partners to remove these illicit goods from the streets of Rossendale, and we would encourage our communities to report any shops who are breaking the law so we can continue to disrupt the sale of illegal tobacco.”
