A man is to stand trial after denying six counts of historic sexual offences dating back around 40 years.
Gary O'Shea, 62, appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Tuesday (November 26).
He entered not guilty pleas to five counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 and a single count of gross indecency with a girl under 14.
The alleged offences are said to have taken place between 1983 and 1987.
O'Shea, of Myrtle Cottages, Bacup, will stand trial on January 26, 2026.
His next scheduled court appearance is on December 5, 2025, for a pre-trial review.
The trial is expected to last between four and five days.
He was released on conditional bail.
